The purpose of my project was to show texture by carving and printing the shades to look like the photo. My texture was visible and it showed some hair from the tiger and some details on his nose and face. I was able to show this texture because I looked at the picture and saw the way they are placed on the photo and carved them to match it. I chose this texture because the tiger looked cool.
First you pick which block you want and then you carve into the block with tools for each color and then you put ink on the block and press it on a piece of paper and keep doing it with each color and shade and then you get a printing of what picture you chose from carving away a block. This is a reduction print because I followed the steps and there's different colors carved by different layers. This is a relief print because I cut away the block to show texture. In printing registration is the precise alignment of different layers of color or different print methods on a single document.My learning process was good i did not know what to do at first but then I got the hang of it. The challenge about this project was to make sure I carved in the right places and put it on the paper the right way so that the print could look good. I think that I succeeded at making a good print and showing the texture and carving the tiger.
The purpose of this drawing was to create a painting of a landscape kind of in 0.5, this painting is of the Eiffel tower in France in the daytime, this painting shows space and everything around it to show landscape and how much space and object you can put into a painting.

this sculpture represents 3 of my family members including myself, The big open spaces on the sides of my sculpture represent my aunt and grandma bye the shapes being so open it represents how big and kind of people they are and then the round shape represents my aunt because she has a lot of muscles and loves to work out, the green represents my grandma and aunt because their favorite colors are green and they both love nature as well as i do and the lake on the back represents all of us, the base shape that looks like a vase represents the combination of all of us because it has the most space and we have so much joy when we are all together so it represents happiness,

Very strong and beautiful and one of her favorite colors is green so that's why they are a solid
Green and not painted like everything else, the lake and flowers represent me and my grandma because she lives in a cabin in the woods on patoka and the painting is exactly what the lake looks like
The flowers represent her because she loves nature and she is very kind and pretty as well so the flowers represent me, my sister, nana, and my aunt because we are all very pretty and we have good personalities.
these papers are during the making of the sculpture and these papers helped me fuigure out exactly what final shape to make for the scculpture, there are all of the steps and the ideas that i had befor ei put them all together, there is a page of 5 sketch ideas for each pearson matching their persionality traits.
this is my baby sculpture just to look at to help me with my big sculpture and to know what i needed to do and how i was going to do it.
