This is the drawing of the Diorama that I had made. The learning objective in my own words is that we take the time that we have carefully. The process was kinda stressful because I was one of the last ones who finished the project. Some of the things I had to make three-dimensional. One of the things that I had to make three-dimensional was the bed I used different shades of purple. One of the ways that I made the bed three- dimensional was to mix the side of the bed with black and the top is white. The artwork shows where the light comes from by the pumpkins around the room.
This is the original diorama that I had made. The theme for my diorama is a Halloween theme because Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It looks the way it does because I took some of the things that reminds me of Halloween and put them into the diorama. The process of making the diorama was kinda easy on creating the diorama because I just got stuff that reminded me of Halloween. Some Improvements that I made to the diorama to make it look better was to add the pumpkins and to add sunflowers. Some of the feedback is that it looked good.
Some of the learning objectives of this project that I fulfilled are learning how to paint well with watercolors and with using the different brushes. Another thing that I had learned is about how to mix different colors to get a certain color. One of the requirements is that we have to make up some kind of space to fill and you have to turn it into some point of perspective.
The concept/idea was to fill the page with your choice, but we had to put it into perspective of some sort. My choice was a city with a whole bunch of animated characters. Some of the Characters were Princess Jasmine, Mike Wazowski, Olaf, etc. I also added some items that you would see in real life: a car and a tree.
Some of the improvements that I had made was putting some yellow on the side of the buildings that the sun was supposed to be shining on. The students that I sat with during class said that I did a good job. The most challenging part about this project was probably using the watercolors. Some of the time the water colors would mix and it made it hard to fix.The thing that I had enjoyed the most about this project was probably drawing it because I could bring it with me to work on unlike the painting.

Shana Levenson
The artist that I had researched for this project was Shana Levenson. For her paintings she uses a hyper realistic style. Her meaning to her artwork is how important the people in her work are to her. Shana Levenson’s method of working is that she focuses on the portraiture and the figure. In her artwork she also emphasizes delicate and feminine details in her subject. Some of the things include jewelry, body shape, and lace.
For her artworks she makes the people in the artwork brighter than the background to make them stand out. For the background that I did I made it where it was a plain gray and made the prop in the background faded. She also uses people that are important in her life, that is one of the reasons that I put my mom in this artwork.
