Hi! I’m Kendall Hui, the CEO and Founder of GrandPaws Blankets. As a senior at California High School in San Ramon, I’m passionate about making a difference in our community. In 2020, my family adopted a rescue dog named Donnie from Love and Second Chances, and he has brought immense joy to our lives - especially to my 101-year-old great-grandmother, who often feels lonely. Inspired by this experience, I wanted to create a project that would support both senior citizens like her and give back to Love and Second Chances. This vision led to the creation of GrandPaws Blankets, an organization where high school students and seniors collaborate to craft fleece-tie blankets, which are then donated to Love and Second Chances.
