On this page, you will find artwork I have made outside of school. These may be from art classes I have taken or just some personal pieces.
_____
To the right art two relatively larger-sized watercolor paintings I have made. These are 24x11, compared to the 8x5 I usually use. Both used a photo reference and were painted with an instructor in an online art class.
In this scene, there is a temple on the banks of a river, likely from somewhere in northern India. I tried my best to depict smoke/fog with watercolor and I think it turned out well.
This is a very simple painting, mainly for experimenting with water and understanding how to paint it well. In this particular painting, I tried to focus on the depth and how reflections behave in dense bodies of water.
_________
I made this painting after taking a long break from acrylics as a gift to a relative. There was no reference for this painting, although I did study a couple similar ones. I tried to make the colors cohesive and follow the light source. Looking back, I could have fixed some proportions in the painting. Overall, I think it turned out well for my first attempt at a painting in this style.
