Springboro High School's (SHS) Air Force Junior ROTC’s Leadership and Academic Bowl Team won a National Championship this past summer! Congratulations to our Air Force Leadership and Academic Bowl National Champions!

The competition, located in Washington DC, is initially computer-based and started all the way back in November 2022 with 640 teams participating in Level-I competition. From there, the top 340 teams advanced to Level-II competition. Of those 340 teams, only the top 16 teams advanced to Washington DC, which is a live competition. Springboro High School (SHS) was the only Ohio team to advance to the Championship.

While in Washington DC, the SHS team went 6-1 in round-robin competition to secure a spot in the quarterfinals. SHS advanced all the way to the finals, ultimately defeating a team from Utah to win the Air Force’s Leadership and Academic Bowl National Championship. Overall, SHS finished with a 9-1 record.
