Assemblage Sculpture

It is visually evident in my work that I am trying to create the scales of a shark with the pieces of blue. This project relates to my life because I like the water and fish, so I created a sculpture of a fish. To make this sculpture I cut out pieces of cardboard in the shape of a fish then put tin foil over the pieces to give it a texture and make it expand out. Then I taped the big pieces onto the cardboard. After I cut out the small blue pieces from an old folder, then I glued them onto the tin foil on the shark. My next step could have been to put something behind the blue pieces so the tin foil was not visible. Also I could have made the fish bigger.
