Extended Contour Drawing

Oil Pastel, Graphite Pencil, Water Color

Cardboard paper, 12x18

The main idea that guided my art work was how I spaced them out and the way I created them, while I wasn't looking I could tell where I was drawing and decided to space them out instead of putting them together so I could space them out and create more of a interesting design then something that's together. I used a graphite pencil and oil pastels on a cardboard drawing page. I started off with the middle drawing and made the other 2 around it, it was tricky to actually think of what to do and I didn't know what to do

The main idea that guided this part of my contour drawing was when I was finished I decided I wanna add some lines to connect everything and then use some water color, I used water color for this assignment and pencil on the same piece of cardboard drawing paper. I started off on one side painting it red and I decided I wanted to make a pattern, then I decided to just paint it all sorts of colors and see how it turned out. I dipped my paint brush in the paint and flicked it around the painting leaving dots all over the paper which I thought was cool, then I finished by making a pattern from the bottom up
