Deion Sanders

Known as "Prime Time" and "Neon Deion", Sanders is a former professional football and baseball player; he is celebrated as the only athlete to appear in a Super Bowl and a World Series!  Currently, Sanders is the head football coach at the University of Colorado. He played in the NFL for 14 seasons, winning two super bowl titles, and also played nine seasons in Major League Baseball. Deion Sanders was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer earlier this year, but after surgery, doctors declared him cancer free!  Sanders now uses health challenges to inspire others and emphasize regular medical checkups.

Born August, 9, 1967 Deion Sanders has played  for five different NFL teams during his 14-season career including the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens.   Sanders played MLB for 4 different teams:  New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and the San Francisco Giants.
