The flow simulation of the MK I prop. The darker the color, the slower the speed of the fluid it is traveling through, which is in this case water.
The MK II prop performed poorly compared to the MK I prop, likely due to the moor fin shape and linear pitch.
The MK III Prop performed very well, however the flow was concentrated towards the center, and created a strong vortex. This is not optimal, as it could lead to cavitation which would degrade the propellers.
The MK V propeller, now in its Kort nozzle, outperforms the previous iterations of propellers. With high speed flow, a more uniform force, and an increased efficiency with the addition of the Kort nozzle, we were content with the performance of the final product.
