As a Student Assistance Coordinator, my responsibilities are to provide behavioral support and crisis intervention for students. Also my job is to help develop programs to assess and aid students with mental health or substance abuse problems. I also offer counseling to students who are disciplined for poor behavior and liaise with parents to ensure that students have support outside of school.
