I've had the wonderful opportunity to connect with the Lily Project (https://www.thelilyproject.org/), which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating healthy futures for women through clinics and classes. At my school, I am a part of SHE Nicaragua, which stands for sexual health and education. We partner with the Lily Project and WiseGirls to provide sexual education to young girls in Nicaragua and supporting them with products such as condoms, pads, and tampons. We met the girls two weeks ago over Skype and I am so excited to learn more about them!
In my Globalization and Human Rights class, we began websites to highlight a certain country's human rights footprint. I focussed on Egypt, and current events and evaluations can be found here:
