Pitzer Advocates for Survivors of Sexual Assault is a student led organization that provides peer-to-peer confidential support to survivors of sexual assault and their allies. We are committed to being trauma informed through an intersectional lens. We aim to continuously learn with the Pitzer community about the many intersections of trauma, identity, and lived-experience. For more information about support hours, you can visit the "Support Hour Schedule" page listed in the main menu.
We are here to be a support system and someone to talk to, to help find the right resources for each individual, and we also provide support for those going through Title IX reporting processes. Our primary goal is to support survivors. We also strive to create a campus climate that combats rape culture in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to, classrooms, campus nightlife, extra-curricular communities, institutionally, and within interpersonal relationships.
