Middle School Summer Camp

Hello Center Stage Families,

We’re excited to share an update as we prepare for another great summer of theatre camps!

We are currently finalizing our summer plans and location details. The PRT auditorium will be undergoing renovations this summer, so we are working to confirm the best spaces for our camps and performances.

Please keep an eye out for upcoming announcements with show titles, schedules, and confirmed locations. We’ll be sharing those details very soon!

SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

Who: Students currently in grades 6-8 who Love to Sing, Act, and Perform on the Stage

Camp Dates: Monday, June 8th - Thursday, June 11th

Camp Time: 8am-5pm

Audition & Callbacks Date: Friday, May 8th – 4-7pm

Cast List Posted by: Saturday, May 9th – 9pm

Performance: Thursday, June 11th at 6:00pm

Location: Prairie Trail Middle School (21600 W. 10th Street, Olathe, KS 66061)

Presented By: Prairie Trail Middle School Theatre and Choir Teachers

Cost: $225.00 for the week

Director

Dana Davis

Prairie Trail Theatre Director

Dana Davis is a theatre educator and director with over 20 years of experience in Olathe Public Schools. As the Theatre Teacher and Director at Prairie Trail Middle School, she creates a supportive environment for students to explore their passion for the arts. Dana also serves as President of Kansas Junior Thespians and as a Festival Organizer, supporting young theatre talent statewide. Through her teaching and mentorship, Dana has helped students grow both as performers and confident individuals. In her spare time, Dana loves spending time with her family.

Erin Stewart

Prairie Trail Choir Director

Erin Stewart Stubenrauch has dedicated over 20 years to instilling a love of singing and building confidence in students both at Prairie Trail Middle School and in her private voice studio. As an active member of state boards, she is deeply committed to advancing the art of choral education. Erin’s dedication to her students' has earned her the state Horizon Award and the Olathe Public Schools Foundation Educator Excellence Award. Outside of teaching, Erin loves traveling with her family and making cherished memories in their camper during the summer months.

Makayla Morgan

Makayla is a PRT Theatre and Choir alumni and is so excited to be back in the Kansas City are post grad. She is graduating from the University of Tennessee in May 2025 with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology. You may have seen her work in the local community theatre, Inspired Purpose, or in various schools across the Southeast!
