How to get a ticket:

Follow the link provided to purchase a ticket from GoFan. Tickets are $15 per student. You will receive a digital ticket after purchase. Students will wait for school personnel to validate the ticket at entry the night of the dance. Tickets will be on sale starting Monday, September 25 and will be sold until Friday, October 6. Please plan to purchase your ticket ahead of time.

Theme: Haunted Hoco!

Welcome to Olathe South’s spooky Homecoming bash. All ghouls and goblins are welcome to our haunted hallways and dance floor. Hopefully the only truly frightening scare at South’s Hoco Dance are the chaperones’ dance moves.

Location and times of events:

Spirit Week Bonfire and Powder Puff Football Game at Olathe South High School on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 6-8 pm.
- Ticketed event.
- Purchase wristbands for $1 during lunch Monday–Wednesday.
- $1 at the gate + Student ID or studentvue.
- Must be an Olathe South student to attend. No outside guests!
Homecoming Court Assembly and student voting at Olathe South High School. The assembly and voting will take place during Advisory time on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
Homecoming Football Game and Acknowledgement of Homecoming Court at ODAC on Friday, October 6, 2023. The Homecoming Court Ceremony will take place during halftime of the football game.
Homecoming Dance at Olathe South High School, 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Doors will open at 7:30 on the dot.

What if I want to bring an outside guest?

For outside guests, please follow the link or scan the QR code posted around the building to fill out the necessary information for your guest. You can purchase your guest a ticket under your student name on Hometown Ticketing. For the dance, please have your guest bring their ID.

Please forward this form to your guest or fill it out with your guest. To ensure that your guest’s form is approved, please have this submitted no later than Monday, October. 2nd.

Suggested attire:

For Homecoming, we recommend formal attire for our guests. However, we want all our ghostly guests to feel comfortable, so wear what you feel best in.

If you are interested, South’s KAY club is creating a dress closet for students to use for formal dances. Donations are being accepted in the front office anytime before Wednesday, October 4th.

“Shopping” will be available Wednesday, October 4-6th before school and during Advisory. To make an appointment to shop, contact Mrs. Roseman or scan the QR code posted around the school.
