There are many opportunities for individual professional learning that can be found in a variety of formats.

Professional reading, webinars, Twitter Chats, virtual learning activities, KSDE Suggested Opportunities, conferences, ONEA Microcredentials, and professional research are a few of these formats.

In order to earn professional development points for relicensure and salary movement for participating in these kinds of experiences, educators must have an Individual Action Plan with an aligned goal submitted to the Leaders for Learning PRIOR to the activity.

There is a maximum of 120 points that may be earned for salary movement in the professional development year (August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020). There is no limit on the number of points you may earn for relicensure.
