Below, you will find professional learning opportunities created by our Learning Services team to help you learn more about your content area curriculum and technology.
While most of these opportunities are optional, others are REQUIRED as part of your licensure.
Please make note of the required sessions and their due dates.
You will receive professional development points for completion of modules on this site. These points will be purposed for both relicensure and movement on the salary schedule. When you complete these modules (entering your full first and last name or logging in when required), points will be added to your professional development portfolio and transcript. If you have questions about earning PD points, please contact Jenna Kuder at jkuderirc@olatheschools.org
Camp Canvas- Optional
The Technology Advancement and Training Team is excited to host two full weeks of deep dives into Canvas training. Sessions are repeated throughout the week and offered asynchronously as well, allowing you to build a schedule that fits your summer plans.

Navigating Frontline Professional Growth- Optional
This self-paced learning session is designed to help educators confidently navigate the Frontline Professional Growth platform. Throught step-by-step guidance, participants will learn how to access and submit required forms, view and manage their individual professional development transcripts and portfolios, and locate important documents in the File Library. Whether you're new to Frontline or deepen your understanding of its features, this session provides practical support to ensure you can efficiently manage your professional learning requirements and records with ease.

Implementing the Action Plan Process - Optional
During this session, you will learn about the Action Plan Process which allows you to earn professional development points purposed for relicensure and salary movement. Included in the Nearpod module are instructions on how to implement the Action Plan Process, important due dates outlined in our Olathe Professional Learning Policies, and demonstrations of how to access and submit the necessary forms in Frontline Professional Growth.
