How Should I Find Books I Like?
What If I Don't Like a Book I Checked Out?
It's a BOOK BUFFET!
Have you ever been to a buffet? There's a huge variety of foods, all ready to be sampled! Some dishes you've never tried before, some you already know you don't like, and then there are those favorite dishes you always go back for. It's like that in our library at Chisholm Trail: we have a diverse selection of books to cater to every reader and their unique preferences.
And, at buffets, some parents let their kids choose freely and others set guidelines; it's similar in a library. Every family has its own rules about what books are suitable, and that's perfectly okay!
If you find that a book you've borrowed isn't to your liking, it's always fine to return it. Good readers know that it's okay to abandon a book that doesn't capture your interest because there are so many other great books waiting to be discovered.
The most important thing is finding books that excite and engage you, and our library is here to help you do just that. Come sample the books at CST!
