Project Reflection

In our project, my group succeeded in many elements. However, there are also many elements that I believe we could have improved upon. To name a few peaks of the project, my group was very good at time management. We were able to meet all of the deadlines comfortably. Another task that my group succeeded at was implementing the proper physics concepts. Because my entire group had a deep understanding of the concepts at hand, we could easily work together to solve each problem. We were even able to meet many of the level 4 criteria with our calculations of angular momentum, rotation and spin, and lift. Lastly, my group was very good at collaborating in a respectful way. Nobody in my group was too dominant nor too laidback. Each person contributed around a equal amount, whether it be through filming, performing the sports actions, writing the script, or doing the voiceover. For me personally, I think that I played a moderate leadership role. My largest contributions were film experience, collaboration, and hard work.

While there weren't many aspects of this project that I would change, one would be the originality of our final product. Even though my group had a lot of extra time to refine our film, the final product still ended up being rather unoriginal. It exceeded many aspects of the criteria, yet the shots were all quite similar and there weren't many cool graphics included. My group disagreed on how much originality was too much, so we ended up going with a fairly basic yet educational movie. Nonetheless, the film still reflects our hard work. Another pit of this project is the groups productivity towards the end of the project. Because we had so much time on our hands, we ended up wasting some time in the last few days. We could have used this time to make sure that our calculations were clear, our audio was cleaner, or we met all the criteria. One thing that I think I personally could have improved on is listening and encouraging all members of the group to share their opinions. I will implement this in the next project.
