Physics of Sports Video
Physics is “the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics, distinguished from that of chemistry and biology, includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms.” and threw the course of 2 weeks, me and my partners Te'ah and Isabella solved the physics behind what makes a volleyball spike so effective and powerful.
Starting off strong!
The sport move we chose was a volleyball spike. A spike is an offensive play in volleyball when a player hits the ball down, over the net and onto the opponent's side. The reason for a spike is to make the ball harder to return due to its hard force. We started off by creating both our storyboard and script before we filmed each of our individual clips for our website.
