I used critical thinking in everday activitys such as everything from doing scales to sight reading a new peice. In the first few weeks of the stand up bass I was having to learn how to tune my bass, play with a bow, and where all the notes are on the neck. I had to learn new time signatures and tune using my ears. When I would play I would have to know where to play and time the note length perfectly and play in sink with the lodus section. If I play off then the whole band starts to get thrown off and it dosent sound good when someone misses a rest and all you hear is a unintentional bass solo. I had to think about the dynamics, sticatos, notes, rests, fermatas, and look at the connductor for certain parts.
