About Me

Natalie Banton

Nurse

Who I am: Why Physics: My name is Natalie Banton. I have just graduated from UCLA with my doctorate and a degree in nursing, and passed my NCLEX exam with flying colors. What got me into this school in the first place was my soccer scholarship. I had been playing soccer since I was in preschool. And had always wanted to be a professional soccer player but then realized that I was put on this earth for much more, I was put here to help people and be a support. So knowing this I went into the medical field. I have always been interrusted in to science of physics, and wanted to go into a career that had it raped in.

Using Physics: Physics is in everything operational in nursing, for example the medical field uses physics to help use modern technology, like heart monitors, digital life support, and we even give these tools to the military. Without these things we would not be able to care for our patients, and let them have the best recovery possible.

Advice for Students: For kids who are interested in the medical field, take your classes sealy and take notes. One of the biggest decisions you're going to have to make when in college is, when you have a test or an exam, and you know you should be studying but there's a party or your friends think it's okay to skip, dont. I know the effect your friends can have on your life but my advice is any friend that is trying to keep you from your dream, and isn't keeping you in check, isn't a friend.
