Our process/ Engineering and Design Cycle

We originally wanted to do the problem of Airpods falling out of your ears, but we didn't find much on that problem, so we later switched to the problem of poor water quality. We started researching many different aspects of the problem, from the cause of it to possible solutions. We later agreed on making a water filter prototype to filter dirty drinking water into clean drinking water. We did this by cutting open a Gatorade bottle and flipping the top part down into the rest. We did a few variations of the bottle and different materials to filter through the water. We found that little rocks, charcoal, and a coffee filter worked the best. Throughout the project, we made many changes and tested each, and then re-designed our filter. We did this by following the engineering and design cycle the whole time.
