Waste Altering Liquid Thermochemical Energy Reactor 

Here at Hix Incorporated our goal is to make an easy way to allow farmers to continue using their 2-stroke diesel engines after the bill (AB1346)* which bans all off road utility vehicles from running on engines lower than 25hp, by providing an easy way to produce clean fuel for that engine in a fairly affordable manner. We plan on creating a working schematic and model of a cheap, simple biodiesel reactor which can consistently create biodiesel. The components of the reactor include the chemical storage and the reactor itself, and an optional cooling chamber. The chemical storage simply stores the chemicals that we will mix together, while the reactor is essentially a massive stir heater which combines everything. The optional cooling chamber will let the fuel cool down before we handle it, for safety purposes. We also have a co-product of Glycerin, which can be used in many ways, such as making soap or shampoo, although whether or not that will be very clean and healthy to apply has yet to be seen.
