We were given the task of coming up with a series of models to gain a better understanding of our planets and their orbits. To do so, we started with Model 1, which then eventually progressed to Model 2, next 3, then 4, and lastly Model 5. In detail, our first model was a completely inaccurate representation of the planets. We attempted placing the planets in order but found that we had mixed some of the placements and inaccurate sizes. Model 2 represented each planet's distance from the sun, while model 3 consisted of adding additional information that may help our project for our final model. In model four, we went deeper into depth by exploring and supporting our predictions with evidence based on the data NASA had given us. We were introduced to planet X and were tasked with predicting traits of our phenomenon selected.

Finally, in model 5 we were given more information about both planets X and Y. We made predictions based on the information given, and the equations we used. The equations helped us to calculate our weight on Earth, Planet X, and Planet Y. Additionally, we also calculated the orbital period.

Orbital period equation: T = 2(pi)d/v (The orbital period is how long it takes something to orbit around a planet). time = 2 times pi (3.14) times the distance from Sun divided by velocity.
The equation for calculating our weight on each planet: F = Gm1m2/r2 (force = gravity times mass 1 times mass 2 divided by radius squared.
Fg = Force of gravity is the gravitational pull of two objects with mass. It pulls any object with mass to another object.
