Hypo kinetic Disease Poster

Description:

We were assigned to create a poster about a hypo kinetic disease, and my group was assigned Stroke. On the first day we created a google doc so that we could type out a rough draft. After that, we planned out where everything was going on the poster. Because we had everything already planned out, by the end of the first day we were done writing everything. We had also started to trace with color, and had finished two out of our three drawings.

On the second day of working we finished tracing the text and got the third drawing down and colored. We also traced another picture to make it pop. Our last step was to erase the pencil marks around the writing to make it look cleaner. We turned it in with 40 minutes left in the period.

How do Health components of fitness affect Strokes:

Stokes are a Cardiovascular Disease that falls under the category of Hypo Kinetic. Two major risk factors of Stoke are obesity and high blood pressure. Obesity is basically an unhealthy body composition so it is important to have a good body composition when preventing strokes. A good counter to high blood pressure is regular cardiovascular exercise. Having good cardiovascular endurance can counter high blood pressure and by extension stroke.
