After living in Switzerland for the first 9 years of her life, Sandra Calmes moved with her mother to Cambridge, Massachusetts. In doing so, she had to move away from her family, her friends, and the cultural environment she was growing up in. Sandra has been living in Massachusetts ever since she originally moved here.
