Louie O'Dea

By: Norah Kelleher (granddaughter)

Louie O'Dea grew up in County Galway, Ireland with his Mom, Dad, and 8 siblings; he had three sisters: Eileen, Celia, and Mary, and four brothers: John Joseph, Frank, Patrick, and Furzey. In 1957, he left Ireland and came to live in Haverhill, Massachusetts with his aunt, uncle, cousins, and 2 brothers who had already moved to America. He worked a few little jobs making little money and then later went on to open what was called "The Claddagh Pub". After marrying his wife Catherine in 1961, he took a real estate course and became a licensed realtor in 1962 and together Catherine and Louie opened up Quest Real Estate. A year later his first of four daughters was born and his youngest daughter, Alexis, is my mom!
