A recent study conducted by Amerisleep reports that pillow cases actually accumulate more bacteria than toilet seats. Since the release of the study, a new fatigue has overtaken the nation’s health enthusiasts, who are afraid to sleep on their once-beloved pillows.
“I’ve never gone this long without sleeping,” one exhausted American said, “but every time I try to sleep, I wake up to nightmares that the germs in my pillow case are eating me alive.”
“Goo goo ga yawn,” said one sleep-deprived baby whose parents have not let him sleep on a pillow since the news broke.
However, it seems that a new solution has arrived for stressed-out non-sleepers of all ages.
Upon hearing the news, Mike Lindell, owner of MyPillow, immediately prototyped a new product: the Toilet Seat Pillow™.
In a recent infomercial advertising the product, which will be released next week, Lindell said, “It may not be soft, but it sure is sanitary!”
For those wondering about the cleanliness of the Toilet Seat Pillow™, Lindell had a simple response: “Who cares? It’s cleaner than your pillow case, that’s for sure!” He also mentioned that the product drop will feature an option allowing customers to choose to purchase a new or pre-loved toilet seat to use as their pillow.
One test customer exclaimed, “Well, I’ve never woken up with so much neck pain, but at least I probably won’t get sick! Thanks Toilet Seat Pillow™!”
Lindell has not commented on concerns that some test customers for the pre-loved Toilet Seat Pillow™ have already reported cases of pink eye.
