WinterFest is a hallmark of the holidays here at NHS - an opportunity for the musically gifted among us to share their talents with the student body.

As you may have already seen, we're bringing back Athlete of the Month! But, as an even more exciting announcement, we're also bringing back everyone's favorite "_____ of the month"... the FASHIONISTA of the month.

Elizabeth Guttilla ('22) has started a “Students to Seniors Holiday Card Project” in which students from Needham High School will be sending cards to senior citizens throughout the community.

As the fall sports seasons come to a close, Boston Globe recognizes outstanding athletes for their performance in their seasons. This fall season, Needham has one All-Scholastic, as well as a multitude of All-Stars from each of the fall sports. Congratulations to these athletes!

Every year, Students Acting to Make a Difference (SAMD) produces a full length musical in order to raise money for charity. Run by an elected student board, students are in charge of the entire process: selecting the show, interviewing and hiring directors, coordinating with the chosen charity, and managing all behind-the-scenes work for the production.

This mini-month, we’re doing not one, but two Athletes of the Month. We’re recognizing Megan Allen and Karen Nie, who both recently won the Positive Coaching Alliance Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship.

Last month, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that they would debut their Wonder Woman sequel on their HBO Max streaming service at the same time as the film was released in theaters, which was a pretty monumental reveal.
