The Pollard Flood and other FDOS Problems

As many of you know, the first day of school was this past Wednesday. As is any day in the Needham Public Schools system, it was fraught with zany hijinks up to and including possible alligators in the swamp-like biomes of the Pollard modules. Below is a list of the problems we ran into on the first day of school- stay safe out there rockets!

‘Nuff said. Walk on the right side of the hallway (literally the right side). This is not Europe!!

They did make it $7 cheaper from last year but at what cost? Honestly I would write on the thin paper towels from the bathrooms because at least they would not smudge. Pencils fly off this thing while pens smudge, and highlighters stand no chance.

Yes, it was hot out the first day but having water from god knows where erupt from the ceiling is not what I imagine when someone says they want to cool off a bit. Electrical problems. Plumbing problems. Who knows. No homeroom in the mods this week! Unless you want trench foot. #WW2vibes

Now THAT’S just embarrassing. Real talk tho if anyone can tell me where the multipurpose room is, I’d appreciate it xoxo

You either RUN from your last class or stay until 3:15. There is no in between. Maybe Rome had the right idea not giving pedestrians the right of way. Let the seniors be free, we have been stuck at the high school for four years now! Take shifts at the crosswalk!!!

All in all, it was an average day at Needham. Shoutout to Mr. Sicotte for an iconic first day. He stays serving and really never misses, does he?
