As stated before Kawaii culture has been a catapult to many sub-cultures, lifestyles, and media in Japan. Ranging from clothing to government mascots, the kawaiification of Japan can't be underestimated.
Created its mark in Japanese Art as artist like たかしむらかみ. Born on February 1, 1962, Murakami used techniques that would blend elements of kawaii culture to traditional art making the art term Super flat. In 2001, Murakami founded Kaikai Kiki Co. He's become a world-renowned artist known most commonly for his flower design. All of this has made him to be an icon to Kawaii Culture.
A change of speech has been popularized by kawaii culture. Often people will make their voice more high pitch to better recreate a childlike tone then mixed with childlike expressions
The influence kawaii culture had led to a market shift for toward a huge range of products such as stationery & kitchen ware to electronic & cars. Using this aesthetic as a marketing strategy to better fulfill the demands of the consumers. Global successes such as Hello Kitty and Pokémon have led to a mass amount of merchandise such as TV shows, movies, video games, toys, etc.
Japan’s ubiquitous mascot culture also had it kawaiification, as the practice of ゆるチャラ (a practice where a company, city and even government departments make a mascot to represent them) has led to making these mascots more kawaii to better resonate with people
Kawaii culture had helped change Japan in general as it opened door for travel and created sizeable amount of tourism creating tourist spots such as the Harajuku district in Tokyo, The Sanrio Puroland, and Universal Studios
