Who is Mrs. Oxford?

Let me tell you! I have been teaching here at Pleasant Prairie Elementary since 2016, although this is my 11th year teaching.  I have always had a true love for working with children, and couldn't be happier to do so here at PPE! 

The Early Years

I am originally from the city of Franklin, WI.  I attended Pius XI High School in Milwaukee WI, and then went off to Edgewood College in Madison, WI where I studied Early Childhood, both special and regular education, and minored in Psychology.  Living and studying in the city of Madison was a lot of fun, but it felt good to come home to Milwaukee once I earned my degree.  After all, that's what led me to work here at Pleasant Prairie!

In my free time

In my free time, I am very family-oriented.  I love spending time with my husband, my two daughters Dylan and Lydia, and my beagle, Remi Lou.   We are all a big golfing family.  I played in high school and college, and love to help with growing the game!
