What is Speech and Debate?
Speech and debate provides students an opportunity to develop skills in research, critical thinking, organization, persuasion and communication. Students must set aside personal bias and previous knowledge to objectively debate both sides of an issue.

Welcome to the website of the Klein Cain Speech and Debate Club! My name is Alexander Lagos, and I’m the president during 2021-2022 school year. I’ve been in debate for three years, and I watched this club grow from the ground up. It has been an amazing adventure, and along the way I’ve seen people learn skills and form bonds that will last them a lifetime. Debate is a activity that is unlike any other, and I hope you’ll join us for another great year!
