Hi, My name is Waris, and I took Robotics 1 last year; now, this website is a documentation of robotics projects and work that will be done in this class. I am looking forward to completing projects with friends and helping find solutions to problems. My hobbies are piano and music; I enjoy both classical music and rock music. I can listen to Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and a change to rock music artists like MASS OF FERMENTING DREGS, and I really like playing the piano. I am planning to complete all 24 Chopin etudes before moving on to Liszt's transcendental etudes, currently finishing off op 25 no 5 right now and my goals for 2025 would be to finish off op 25 no 5 and op 25 no 1 then end the years with a hard etude either op 10 no 1 or op 10 no 4.
The design cycle helps us understand challenge and step by step learning progress in how to work our way through projects. This could help us understand a problem to solutions type of thinking which require us to understand planning ahead of time and understanding Ideas and how to make it work.
I have chosen Robotics 2 because I would like to explore robotics further and start working on more complex projects. In Robotics 1, I was introduced to a firm basis in designing, building, and programming robots, but I realize that there is so much more beyond what was learned. Robotics 2 offers the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into, improve my coding skills, and work on more sophisticated mechanical designs.
Beyond Robotics 1, my experience with robotics mainly comes from my introductory computer science class, where I learned basic coding concepts. This background has helped me understand how programming can control robots.
Maybe a search and rescue, or a like defuse the bomb type of robots just like in CSGO and Call of duty where they let player defuse the bomb, maybe this might be a fun project to do even though its sound difficult.
