Take a gander at this! It’s the 100th Annual Golden Goose Awards, an awards ceremony for fairytale and nursery rhyme characters, and producer Mary-Mary Quite Contrary has her hands full trying to pull off the ceremony. Rookie host Peter-Peter Pumpkin Eater is distracted by pumpkins, Cinderella and Prince Charming are in marriage counseling with Dr. Bill E. Goat, The Three Bears are protesting the treatment of animals in fairytales and the owner of the network, Old King Cole, is threatening to shut down the show. Packed with red-carpet glamour (fashion critic Emperor likes to tell the naked truth), familiar awards show traditions (and now a word from our accountants...) dramatic acceptance speeches (the Pied Piper returns the Hamlin children) and parodies of real life awards show occurrences (the wrong winner is announced, a celebrity interrupts an acceptance speech), The Golden Goose Awards: Online! serves up a unique night of entertainment that appeals to a wide audience.
