Scoring

Individual Round (MCQ)

1. • Each of the 20 problems will have 5 answer choices: A, B, C, D, and E

   • A correct answer for each question is awarded 1 point

   • Incorrect answers are penalized by subtracting 0.25 points from score

   • Questions left blank are not penalized

Individual Round (FRQ)

1. • There will be 1 easy FRQ worth 4 points and 1 hard FRQ worth 6 points

   • Answer each subpart with a number rounded to 2 significant digits

   • Questions left blank or answered incorrectly are not penalized

Tiebreakers

• Participants may only submit one response for each question

• Correct answers add 1 point to the competitor's score; incorrect answers add 0 points

• Participants will play until they have each reached 3 points

• The final ranking is determined by the order in which they reach 3 points
