Film Club cultivates film literacy, appreciation, and creation by producing at least one student-directed short film every year, hosting the Harker Film Festival, and leading regular discussions on cinematic techniques, genres, and storytelling.

Every month beginning in September, Film Club will lead at least one discussion relating to cinematic techniques, genres, and storytelling. These meetings may take on various creative formats
Harker film festival
Every year, Film Club will host the annual Harker Film Festival. The Club will invite submissions by student filmmakers both inside and outside of Harker and decide upon the works to be featured at the festival. The Club will also prepare panels, events, and creative programming to take place during the festival.

Annual Short Film Production
Each year, Film Club will produce at least one student-directed short film. The Club will oversee the selection of the film and assist in its production. Club leaders will offer their utmost support to the selected project while respecting the creativity of the student director.
