This course is for students who plan to continue their art education throughout their high school career.  This course is an introduction to the Elements and Principles of Design and will be the foundation for the additional art course offerings at Franklin Area Junior/Senior High School.  Students will be exposed to different forms of art including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Art History, and Digital Media Art while learning to create, critique, collaborate, and communicate.  Students will be required to complete one calendar challenge per quarter, sketchbook assignments, and maintain their assigned tools for the year.
