Overview & Purpose

What is American Heart Association?

American Heart Association has become the oldest and biggest volunteer organization to combat cardiovascular disorders and stroke in the country. By working on various research projects and volunteering activities, AHA strives on helping patients all throughout the world. We wish to see a cardiovascular and stroke-free planet. We can have substantial effects on our size and scope. AHA has funded over $4.6 billion in research, making it the largest source of cardiovascular and stroke non-profit financing source for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease research. Objective

PHHS American Heart Association is a club focused on spreading knowledge about cardiovascular and stroke disorders that have affected people all over the world. As teenagers, PHHS AHA allows students like us to make an impact in the world, by allowing us to participate in large volunteering opportunities and fundraisers. We hope you join us and help create change in the world!

Engagement

PHHS AHA takes part in large volunteer events and also works with various clubs all throughout the school in various bonding activities. Last year, even in the pandemic we were able to bond with various clubs such as Med101, Acts of Random Kindness (ARK), and She’s the First (STF)!


Why is PHHS AHA good for you?
