PU3s will have 7 stalls aiming at community engagement overseen by the Service Learning Club.
The elderly will take turns tossing ping pongs balls at an egg carton which will be marked with coloured stickers. The aim of the game is to get as many balls in the areas marked with stickers!
There will be four stations, each featuring one type of flower that the elderly can choose to make using pipe cleaners. The students assigned to each table will assist in teaching the elderly how to make the flowers.
A fun ring toss game where players stand a chance to toss rings and win prizes! For every participation, players will get a Omamori charm!
Players will get in pairs and balance a ball on a piece of paper and walk through a zig-zag pathway to the cup while balancing it, dropping the ball into the cup afterwards.
In this memory-based game, each table will have 2 stations with a row of cups and a basket of balls. In Round 1, Player 1 will arrange 4 balls on 4 cups while a cardboard blocks Player 2’s view for 40 seconds. The cardboard is then lifted for 5 seconds to allow Player 2 to memorise the arrangement, before trying to recreate it from memory. This process is repeated 3 times. To increase difficulty, Round 2 will have 5 cups, and Round 3 will have 6 cups.
A karaoke booth for guests to sing popular songs from their youth, and to interact with the student volunteers from our class. There will be a curated list of nostalgic tunes for the participants to choose from — in case they cannot think of a particular song on the spot — but they can request other songs as well.
A fun, lighthearted bowling game designed to encourage social interaction. Players get two chances to knock down pins and enjoy the moment!
