Most of apps on internet were not supported for chrome os.For example --------steam--------which only support systems like windows or mac os.Even if you download the file version of the app,it was still unable to operate due to compatbility.The only way to acheive apps on chrome os was to wether download it from google play store or file based app(mostly not compatible).We have changed the situation by uploading apps that can was able to run on your chrome book/chrome device.
ABOUT FILE BASED APP
It was specially designed to let it run/compatible with chrome os/chrome book.With file apps available you are really able to enjoy all the fun of owning a laptop even though supervised by your gurdians.The chrome will run or lauch the file just fine even with spy extensions like mobile gurdian,go gurdian or sercurly which do not have the access to block the app.The file based app which were installed will be staying in drive,it will not appear itself on the homepage or app section.When you launch the app,it will automatically direct itself to chrome broswer which will transfer the app src code to google drive(local deployment).your web broswer would see your history but only with drives icon.You can't save the book mark because the urls sections on your search engine will be replaced from https---- to----- file.
