Cadet Major (C/MAJ) Nathan “The Regulator” Ortiz is the Executive Officer for the Crusader Battalion Corps of Cadets. Nathan is a Senior at Delsea Regional High School and a LET 4. His past positions include Battalion Primary S-1, Company Commander, Platoon Sergeant, and Squad Leader. Cadet Ortiz is involved in our prestigious Air Rifle Team, as well as our Service Learning Project, where he served as the Primary Facilitator for the Wreaths of Remembrance Project. Nate’s favorite events are the pizza parties at the beginning of the school year, where he gets to chill and hang out with friends, while getting to meet new faces.

Outside of JROTC, Nate is involved in Delsea’s very own TV/Video program, where he has participated in the “10 Day Film Challenge” for 2 years. He is also heavily involved in the music department here at Delsea, having much experience in music production. He was on the Mock Trial Team, National Honor Society, Interact Club, and was a mentor for the G.O.A.T. Men’s Mentoring Program. Nate enjoys hiking, golfing, drumming, praising Jesus Christ, and spending time with his family. Nate has enlisted in the U.S. Navy and will be a Gas Turbine Systems Mechanic.
