Actor's Workshop is for sophomore to seniors who have taken Theatre I and II. This is a student-driven course where students will choose the areas they want to study in-depth. Students will further learn to analyze different theatrical genres and develop advanced acting and character development techniques as well as apply their directing skills as they create and develop their public performance. This course has the students choose, write and develop the text for their final performance as well as follow the production process from research and preparation to rehearsal to a final public performance. Students are not only the actors in their production but the directors and technicians also. Students may take this course repeatedly as the literature of study changes each semester.
