My name is Arrow Jones, I am an artist and current junior at Mundelein High School in Mundelein, Illinois. I do illustrations and paintings, I especially love doing portraits and mixed media pieces. I love being able to tell stories and create new worlds with my art. I believe that art holds a very deep and important value in society, especially now as so many creative fields are being flooded with artificially created products and pieces. The job of the artist is to capture the truth of the world in a way that goes beyond simple understanding. In times of hardship and struggle, artists are the ones who bring people together and address complex realities with their work. My biggest goal as an artist is to share the joy and creativity that comes with experiencing art.
