I learned so much from this project and some of those things were shading, new tools, measuring lengths for drawing, and how to double, and better my drawing. I really liked this project because it challenged me and showed me that I am capable of creating cool things like this hand holding the tool. I thought that my drawing turned out really well and I am pretty proud of it.

This is my hamburger that I made in art class. I don't think this picture captures the real identity of my clay pot but it does show what it looks like well I guess. I was super happy with how this turned out in the end and I was very happy to be making this object because it is my favorite food. I was so surprised with how well this turned out and am happy to call this burger my project.

This is my bowl that I made with the color neon blue. I was super happy with how the color and glaze looked and how it turned out. The glaze made the bowl look very cool and I was surprised to see the finished object. The edges are not even to add a fun theme and the color and circles with the lines make it look very fun. I learned how to make something new and it turned out pretty good. Overall I liked this project and learning how to make it.

This is a ladybug I painted with acrylic paint. I feel that I did a pretty good job on this and getting the shadow and darkness with light and shine on the outside.

This water color turtle is monochromatic. I thought that I did a very good job on it and am proud of it. I think that the green with the layers looks pretty good. I worked hard and liked the finished product of it.

This cold brew coffee is something that I painted in 2D art my sophomore year. I learned a lot about layering and taking my time through this painting. I did not like how this looked for a long time, but in the end I was happy with the product. I had a lot of little details to add and shadows, with lots of colors to mix. I liked working with the paint and making this painting something I was proud of.

This is a watercolor project that I completed my sophomore year in 2D art and I was super excited to work on this project right away, and was very happy with the outcome. I worked on this for weeks at a time during quarantine, and it helped me figure out that art is now one of my favorite things to do and one of the best projects to keep calm, and have fun, and work on something that I can be excited about. This project was fun and different because it was watercolor, and it took a long time, but I loved it and loved working on it and love how it turned out. This was a picture of the Disneyland castle which is a cool place that I like and wanted to work with these fun colors. I found this image online with the blossoms and statue and extra little add ins that I was very anxious to get started on.

My personal logo from junior year in 3D art was a success! This project included my nickname in a fun layout which was decorated with things that I like a lot and represent me. The letter R was painted with lighting bolts which I have all over my bedroom because they are so fun! I also have peaches on the letter H because I love everything peach colored and flavored! Peaches are the best! The letter A has cheetah print, which took me so long to do, but that design was just for a fun touch because I like cheetah print hehe! The letter Y has yellow with some sunshines on them because I am a "Rhay of Sunshine." Haha... get it? This project was fun to design and think about what represents me and what things make me happy. It was super tough to cut out the foam and then put everything together so that I could cover it with paper towels and paint the whole surface. It was fun and something new for sure, but it wasn't just all fun and games, I sure did learn a lot.

My little sister was going through my backpack the other day during our Thanksgiving break and she saw a ziplock full of our favorite spicy snacks and pulled them out only to find that they were just my art project so well executed that they appeared perfect enough to eat. Takis! Yumm! These cylinder shaped ridged little red flames of flavor started out as a block of foam that were slowly chopped and sanded and carved into these little delicious treats. This project was messy and pretty difficult and took me quite a lot of time. It was fun to get the little details of a food I have seen so many times, onto a rectangle foam block to create something that looked so yummy and edible. Overall, this project was tough yet successful and quite tempting to bite into! ;)

This project was a reed lamp project for my 3D art class junior year. This project was a really fun and simple experiment project that was easy to go with the flow and create something cool. I am really happy with how this turned out. The lamp took me a few weeks in class to finish and involved hot gluing some reeds in fun formations and shapes and then gluing some tissue paper and trimming off the edges to create a fun light up lamp. I had a lot of fun doing this project and liked everything about it with how straight forward and simple this project was.
