I chose to do art class because I love to be creative and learn how to do different things to make art. In this project, we had to pick a story and make it out of limited supplies. Along with limited supplies we had to have one moving part in the project. I chose the story of when I got my tooth knocked out by a kid in my class's foot. My moving parts were my classmate's leg, which can swing back and forth, and my tooth, which can go in and out with a paperclip. Overall this project was more challenging than I thought it would be but it was super fun and I enjoyed every minute.
In this project, I drew my hand holding a paint scraper. This project was super easy for me in the beginning. We used this technique Mr. Langmaack taught us called double it. This part was fun and I feel like I did pretty well with it. After that, we had to do value, which is the shading portion of the drawing. And I enjoyed it but I took a very long time doing it. My whole class finished before me and I got very stressed about the project. Overall, I did enjoy the project and I learned that I like to take my time with my art.
I absolutely loved this project. Painting is a super enjoyable experience for me and I wish I could continue doing painting forever. Yes, it got a but tough but Langmaack taught me that not everything can come easy to me all the time and it's okay to learn new things. I did my painting of a picture I took of Shaver lake. The most difficult parts were the snow and the reflection of the trees in the water. It took me a while to finish but I'm pleased with the outcome of it all.
I enjoyed this project. At first, I didn't know if it was gonna turn out well because my jar was very shallow. The hardest part was probably cutting it open because the wire wasn't cooperating with me. The glaze came out darker than I assumed but overall I liked the turn out of this project.
I enjoyed this project. The first part of it was difficult because I was behind in the class since I got sick and it took me a while to figure out how to construct the whistle part. It also took me a while to figure out what I wanted to make my whistle. At first, I tried to make a golf ball and gold club but that didn't work out and then I tried to make a frog and I didn't like that either. I ended up making a strawberry with the idea from one of my friends and I loved how it turned out.
This project was super chill and easy. I enjoyed using clay coils and using the bowl to make the shape. The hardest part of this project was deciding what design to do. Halfway through putting the clay on I changed my design. Overall I enjoyed doing this project.
This project wasn't my favorite, but that is probably because I don't really like how my painting turned out. I enjoyed water coloring but my seahorse didn't turn out the way I wanted. I don't know what I would do different, but something about it is off for me. Overall I enjoyed water coloring.
This project was challenging in different ways. Figuring out how to paint my painting was tricky because my painting has a really blurry section, a defined blurry, and a section of no blurry at all. Learning the no blurry section as all was hard because I didn't understand how to do it but I learned how to do it. Overall, I don't like my project that much but it still is pretty good.
This was a pretty stressful project. The picture I decided to do took a lot of time to carve out since it had very small little cuts. I was one of the people who took a little too much time and I got a little behind. Actually printing the bird was really fun. At first I struggled with printing but I found my rhythm. Overall it was a fun project and I liked how it turned out.
