Intro to Art

Creative lines

For this art project we had to make a drawing with lines all over the paper. For my drawing I made a park with a sand pit, rock wall, swing, lawn area, and a play set with a slide. This project took me some time to finish but I am proud of it. There are parts of my drawing that I wish I did better or turned out better. I tried to draw bark but that did not turn out to well. Im really proud of my rock wall and my sand pit that I drew and my lawn area with a blanket on the grass.

Hand Drawing

This project pushed me to look with my eyes and not use my brain. This project was a little bit harder for me because I would get my brain involved and that would mess me up. This hand drawing got me a little frustrated when I could not get things to look right. This took a lot of patients for me but I got through and finished it.  There were things that I liked and things I wished that I could have done better but I was proud of myself for finishing it because it was something I have never done.

Insect Painting

I had so much fun creating this painting. I enjoyed this project so much because it was a super chill project and if you made a mistake it was super easy to fix. This project pushed me to learn how to mix colors and what colors make what to get the perfect color you needed. One of the things that amazed me about this project was that when you could not get a color you like because it did not look right and you mix a color that you would never think would make that perfect color.

Clay Jar

I enjoyed making my clay jar, This project help me understand how clay works and how to use it. Doing this project helped me improve my patients and to smooth things out.  I love to work with clay because you can make whatever you want and how ever you want. If you ever did something you did not like it was sooo easy to fix and you did not have to worry about it.

Clay whistle

This project was hard but so worth it, you had to pay attention to every detail and you had to follow instructions if you wanted it to work.  I had to restart mine because I could not get it to whistle. After fixing it and finally got some noise coming out of it but it was not perfect yet. After I got it to work I had to come up with an idea of what I wanted it to look like. Then I decided a wale would cute to do so I did it. I loved making this even though it was a struggle at first it was so worth it.

Clay bowl

This Project was probley my favorite one that we had ever did! This one also took the most time to make (especially because I had to make each circle by hand) I loved working with clay and doing mu clay jar and whiste before this clay project really improved my skill with clay. The one thing I loved about clay is that if you ever messed up you can always fix it without having to start over. For me that is huge because I make lost of mistakes. Working with clay is is amazing and you can suprise yourself on how good you can do.

                 Bird Project

This Project took me a very long time but I'm very happy with the way it came out.  First I was a little scared because I was not happy with the way it was looking. Once I started to paint and add color to it I was shocked it turned out good. I loved the colors I chose and i'm very happy with they way it looks.
