2D Art

For my acrylic art project, I painted a picture of a variety of fruits. Capturing the shadows was difficult. Making the fruits seem 3D was also a challenge. Overall, I think it turned out well.

This is my color pencil drawing. For this project we got to choose a way of transportation that we would be drawing. It was hard because my car that I was drawing included many layers which caused the car to look grainy on the paper. This was a difficult project but in the end I was proud of it.

This is my box. The paper comes from banana trees. The copper on the top is a design of a flower. The copper was ripped a little bit because of how much pressure I put on it to make the flower. Overall, I like how it turned out.

This is a clay whistle. It took a long time to carve out each of the individual seeds and to paint them each without getting the color on anything else. Shaping the strawberry was the easiest part for me. Overall, I think it turned out good.

This is my painting of a butterfly. I got a picture off the internet and used it to paint this. It took a really long time and I had to be careful with all the little details. For me, blending the colors was the hardest.

This is my hand drawing of my hand holding a hammer. I like the texture of the drawing and I learned that you should take your time on projects like this to get your best work. It was pretty hard to catch all the shadows but I tried my best and I think it turned out good.

This is my water color of a dolphin. The hardest part in this project was keeping the water in one spot without it spreading around. Another hard thing was adding all of the layers on. My favorite thing about this project is how it turned out.
