I initially chose art because we have to take one art class to graduate, but then I realized how fun it is. I feel that art may be one of my favorite classes this year so far. I learned to push through and try new things to make this piece what it is. This peace is personally meaningful because I put my favorite animal in this picture and I love the ocean and the creation that God has made. Stingrays for a long time have been my favorite animal and that's why this piece is so meaningful. This project turned out better than I thought it would, and it was so fun to use creativity to make nine lines into an ocean scenery. 

 I was not excited for this project because whenever I just painted for fun I thought it never looked good, but when I did this project I decided to challenge myself by choosing something that would make me go out of my comfort zone. During this project it took me 3 weeks to finish the sky which made me feel really discouraged. As this project t continued I decided to push through and try my best. This painting is probably the best painting I've ever made. Art has helped me to persevere and to trust myself, by leaving my brain outside and to focus my hardest.
