Intro to Art

3D Story

This project tells the story of when my dad was looking for me in the woods while we were camping. This project let me be creative because I had to use the materials Mr. Langmack gave us to tell a story. This project was very fun because I liked that we could tell a story we wanted to. I would change the way the trees look if I were to do it again.

Hand Drawing

This was the hardest art project I have ever done. What made it hard was the shading because it was really hard to shade. I liked this project because it was difficult. If I were to do this project again I would change the way I held the tool because the fingers are really hard to draw.

Landscape Painting

This landscape painting was fun to paint. It was fun to paint because it didn't have to be the most realistic thing ever. I took this photo on my phone and edited it to make it look less realistic. After that I traced the trees and started to paint. I would change the way I drew the trees if I were to paint this again.

Clay Whistle

Making the clay whistle was the most fun art project so far in my opinion. Making the whistle was difficult. However making it look like a pig was the best part. I first made the whistle then made the pig based off of a pig I saw on the internet. If I were to do this project again I would make the head more durable so it stays on the body.

Clay Jar

This clay Jar was very challenging to make but I enjoyed it. What made it challenging was making the shape of the jar before it dried out and hardened. The top of my jar dried out very fast so I had to remake it after it crumbled. If I were to make this project again I would make the shape of my jar faster before it dried out.

Clay Bowl

The Clay Bowl was fun and challenging to make. It was challenging to make because the blending was time consuming and you had to make sure it was even all around the bowl. If I were to make this project again I would blend the sides out more so it wouldn't crack down the side. Overall this project was fun to make.

Water Color Painting

The water color project was very challenging to do. It was challenging because it took patience. The shading and tinting made this project easier. If I were to do this project again I would choose a different color pattern. I learned a lot about water coloring from this project.

Oil Pastel

I think the oil pastel project was the most fun project to make. This is because if you messed up on a color it was very easy to cover up and redo. I think the background made the project a little bit harder. If I were to do this project again I would choose a different plant and insect. I learned a lot about oil pastels and art during this project.

Bird Printing

The Bird Printing project was very fun and enjoyable. I found it fun because you could choose a way to make a print with the colors you choose. If I were to do this project again I would choose a different bird to print. I learned how to do print making during this time.
